We have been celebrating our triumph of buying tickets to Europe. We soon heard time echoing its "tics" and "tocs", reminding us that we have many tasks before we leave. So much to do!
The most vital of details that needs to be addressed: my passport.
I have never gone through the process of receiving one. I knew that I would need it someday when I traveled. In Mississippi, I would save enough money to purchase my own, but, guess what, that money would be used for some bill or for a need (like tires). For some reason, I would need tires when I had enough for a passport. I even asked for a passport for Christmas at one point. I think I got an oil change, instead. Time is continuing on without me. I don't have long. I NEED a passport.
There are a number of other things on our checklist, but that's the most important.
Meanwhile, I'm continuing my efforts in my study of Español by switching my phone 's language to Spanish. ...You could imagine the hilarity that ensues when I try to text in English. In fact, when I spelled "ensued" my phone chose "en su ed", which means "in his Ed" (like the name). It doesn't make sense. Hopefully, I can learn more before Spain. My in-laws would appreciate the skill, since they typically only speak Spanish.
There's so much to do! We're going to check off our list until we are ready to fly. I look forward to these few weeks of antici......pation. (Rocky Horror Picture Show ;-] )
